While sealing helps to slow penetration of spills, it does not completely prevent it. Over time, spills can absorb deeply into grout and natural stone and become extremely difficult to remove. Do it yourself methods using household cleaners and mops can only do so much. Many people end up resorting to scrubbing by hand on their hands and kneesto get it really clean. This is a long and frustrating process that usually strips off any sealer you might have, leaving the surface vulnerable to rapid resoiling and permanent stains. A thorough professional "Deep Cleaning" is a far more intense cleaning than can be achieved with common methods used by home owners and janitorial personel.
There are several key components of a "Deep Cleaning"
Chemical Action- While many hosehold or all purpose cleaners can remove soil and some surface stains, many can cause permanent damage to tile, grout and stone. If your surface has been sealed, these cleaners may even break the bond between the sealer and the surface causing faster absorption of spills and increasing the need for sealing more often. We use very specific "Craftsman Grade" cleaning agents engineered for "Deep Cleaning" of your specific surface.
Dwell Time-.Allowing the cleaning agents time to penetrate the surface and disolve sub surface soil, proteins, food grease and stains is a very important piece of this puzzle. We always allow the proper dwell time to ensure maximum removal of these contaminants.
 Agitation/Mechanical Scrubbing- After the proper dwell time, we can start with some form of mechanical scrubbing using hand held brushes or large rotary floor scrubbing equipment. We match the type of surface and level of soiling with a specific type of scrubbing brush to achieve maximum results while minimizing any risk of damage. Rinsing- A thourough "Deep Cleaning" can not be achieved with a mop or house hold cleaning machine. We use very specialized equipment which offers a range of heat and pressurized water to extract far more deeply embeded soils than any other rinsing method. Heat and water pressure is adjusted based on surface type and level of soiling.Every area we clean is rinsed in a specific overlapping patern once on the way into the area and then again on the way out. This means that every square inch of your surface has been rinsed a minimum of four times.
Spot Stain Removal- After the completetion of the rinsing, some spot treatments may be needed. While most things will be removed during our cleaning process, deeper set stains may need special treatments to be removed. Some stains may be permanent Surface Solutions
